近期见有人求地图，求MOD，授之以鱼不如授之以渔
所以就直接教大家如何手动下载Steam Workshop文件
这方法可能有人在其他版面发过，但至少这版没有
P.S. 如果下载不了（例如出现404error），请等几分钟再试
0. 先找到你想要的文件，然後复制网址
2. 把网址贴上去
3. 然後按下载

Thanks for the info. I really didn't want to get a Steam account just for mods for
game. Unlike other later posters, I have had great success using Firefox, GreaseMonkey, and Enhanced Steam Workshop Downloader 2.1 from greasyfork.org. However, the Download button would somet reloading the page (maybe more than once) cured it for everything I tried (probably due to my flaky public internet connection causing Steam API calls to silently fail). The downloads also sometimes hang when finished, thinking there is more to download, but the zip files are complete (as .part files in the download dir) so I just move them out of the way and then cancel the download (otherwise Firefox will helpfully delete the .part file).

Note that the behavior is not the same as my failures above: the download button isn't nonresponsive, but instead reloads the info page. I found that the reason it doesn't work is that the Steam API call the script uses gets a blank file_url field in the response, and in fact the API doesn't seem to return any useful download URL at all, so I can't offer a fix of any kind. I just hope Shadowrun mods don't start behaving the same way.

I hate to break it to you but it doesnt work. I have firefox and the script that you provided and it still dont work. Im trying to grab the homeworld remastered mods from the shit workshop

zgrillo2004, others: If you can provide a link to a mod for -sold Shadowrun series game (i.e., a mod from the Shadowrun Returns Workshop or the Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut Workshop) that can't be downloaded using the greasyfork.org downloader script, I'd be happy to take a look (assuming I'm still alive and able), even though I am neither the author nor the maintainer of the greasemonkey script, and have nothing to gain other than the ability to download that mod myself.
This topic would be much more useful if people didn't complain about it not working for games that aren't in the "Shadowrun series" and aren't even sold . Complaining to the author/maintainer of the access method (be it the greasyfork.org script or one of the other methods mentioned in this topic), the authors of the desired mods, the vendor who sold the game to them, or maybe even Valve might be more productive. I guess the starting post for this topic is to blame, claiming that it should work for any mod, but at least it was made clear in that post that issues regarding other games' mods don't really belong here.
My own completely unresearched guess is that for some games, the download information the script needs only appears if you're logged into a Steam account that shows ownership of the game, making it completely useless for non-Steam game owners. I expect that with more widespread monetezation of mods, this will become more common (probably even for Shadowrun mods, especially given the rumors that HK will be fully locked down by DRM).

This is completely accurate - the aforementioned tips, tricks and scripts work perfectly well for Shadowrun series games, but may not necessarily work for other games since it's up to the developers how to implement UGC and how the interaction between the game and Steam workshop works.
It just so happens that the SRR devs have been kind/sensible enough to use standard compression (e.g. zips etc.), which are easily convertible. This is probably because Steam isn't the only place to grab SRR UGC - they decided to support any platform for UGC, e.g. Nexus. Your success with downloading UGC for any game that does not allow alternatives to the Steam Workshop will quite possibly be limited.
If you own one of those other games, it would probably be best to ask for this on the boards for those games.

squid830: As many people on here have lamented, there are a lot of mods that are, for one reason or another, only available on Steam workshop, with no other downloads from other places such as Nexus.
After much searching, I've found a way to download these without requiring Steam (or a Steam account)!
1) Locate the page of the mod on Steam Workshop
2) Copy the URL of the mod from your browser (should look similar to this one here for Yakuza Legacy: =)
3) Go to this website*:
4) Paste the URL you copied into the text box (above the "Download" button)
5) Push the "Download" button (might take a while to appear).
6) When it's ready, push the "Start Download" link. You may need to select "Save File" if your browser prompts you.
7) Locate the downloaded file, and add a ".zip" extension to it (it will typically contain a different extension or just be a random-looking filename with no extension at all).
8) Unzip the module to your Shadowrun Returns UGC area (as you would with any other SR UGC).
BTW, note that some UGC gets updated faster on Steam Workshop than it does on Nexus. The main one here is Shadowrun Unlimited, which is a number of updates behind on Nexus.
Note that the "gaddons" website is originally for addons developed for Garry's Mod - so all the other instructions (e.g. using GWTool) won't work for Shadowrun Returns (but it isn't needed anyway).

* Note: Previously this was this website: , however that URL has now changed. Additionally, it was originally designed for "Garry's Mod", whereas the other one is more generic. Finally, the steamworkshopdownloader site also helpfully loads some info from the selected mod prior when it generates the download button - so it's more helpful and user friendly.
However, despite being "more generic" than the site I posted originally, the below information is still valid (though it's been slightly updated to be clearer).

A note on using this method for retrieving other UGC for other games:
This technique can, in theory, be used to retrieve and download ANY file on Steam workshop as described above (and should work for all other games too)! Woohoo!
However, this only applies to downloading the UGC in question. How easy it is to actually install into this other game is highly dependent on the other game. More specifically, the format the UGC file is on Steam Workshop (it won't necessarily be a zip file!) and how easy it is to install this into the game. It might be as easy as SRR, it might be another type of archive file that might just require identifying it and unpacking it, or it might require some kind of custom conversion.
On top of this, some mods (for other games) are apparently not downloadable using this method, or indeed any method outside of Steam - apparently.
So if this doesn't work for another game, I'd recommend checking in with that game's community for UGC conversion/installation tips/tools, or possibly complaining to Steam/Valve/game's publisher directly. Attachments: (46 Kb)

I assume this is not Shadowrun you're having issues with but some other game though? Because I'm pretty sure all the HBS Shadowrun games aren't restricted like this.
There are some games that inexplicably restrict this - no idea why some games would be thus restricted, unless the devs either set it by accident or they're total utter assholes. So I'd complain about it to the devs if I were you - or at least get them to explain why they'd restrict the downloading of UGC, since I can't figure out any reason why anyone would do this (or indeed why this is even an option to begin with).
