花5分钟时间阅读3篇中学生习作，并在3分钟内对文章进行点评。为角逐最后30个一等奖名额，40名&光明优+杯&上海市第20届中学生作文竞赛一等奖入围者，日前接受了一次口语面试考验。选手们的表现令评委有些意外&&高中组的哥哥姐姐们，似乎并没有初中组的小同学们&能说会道&。初中生妙语不断本届大赛倡导学生写真事，表真情，但不少参赛作文仍暴露出空话太多、引用过度等不足。为此，组委会特意挑选出部分&问题文章&，希望选手也能够发现其中弊病。果然，初中组的不少选手不仅有&火眼金睛&，而且点评中妙语不断。有的直言&题记太突兀，根本没有必要&；有的发现，文章只有华丽词藻，但逻辑性不够；有的以&化妆&作比，倡导朴实文风。高中生为考所累相比之下，除了少数同学观点鲜明外，大多数高中组同学只是琐碎地从文章结构、遣词造句方面进行分析。为什么年级越高，真情越少？走出赛场，一名参赛女生告诉记者，这和平时的作文训练有很大关系。在老师反复强调的&应考秘笈&中，高考作文要得高分，首先就得在作文开头&扔&出3个排比句，或者一组名人名言来&夺人眼球&；作文的中间部分只要连贯通顺即可，因为受到阅卷时间影响，老师不可能仔细阅读；文章最后再引用或改变一句诗词或名句，最好以一个问号结尾，显示作者对现实的思考&&&虽然许多同学并不喜欢这种写作模式，但时间一长，又怎么会不受到影响？&女生很无奈。

Is a Test of Spoken English Necessary?
As regards a test of spoken English ,there has been a hated discussion among the general public inour society. People who believe in its necessity argue that spoken English test helps to evaluatestudents' spoken English ability. What’s more，it will definitely stimulate students to lay moreemphasis on listening and speaking，which are surely needed in their future career.
By contrast，others hold that spoken English test is of no necessity. According to a recent surveyconducted by China Daily，a slight proportion of college graduates as low as 8. 37 percent actuallyuse spoken English in their daily work. In addition，spoken English test may not faithfully reflect thelevel and therefore cast doubt on college students.
As far as I am concerned，I am most happy to attend such a test of spoken English. I plan to seizeevery chance to improve my oral English ability so as to achieve outstanding performance in thecoming test.(150词)
