网易体育6月21日报道：对阵，斯图里奇在第92分钟的绝杀让英国彩民安德鲁-琼斯一阵狂喜，他下注的5英镑将换来2万英镑。然而博彩公司拒绝给他兑奖。据太阳报报道，安德鲁-琼斯在博彩公司Coral开出英格兰2-1战胜威尔士赔率为4000/1时下注5英镑，但当他拿着中奖的彩票去兑换他2万英镑的奖励时，Coral却拒绝支付，理由是琼斯下注时的赔率是不对的。32岁的琼斯表示自己在下注前还询问工作人员这一赔率是否是正确的，在得到肯定的回答后他买了5英镑的英格兰2-1获胜。他当时还要求工作人员两次打印出了他的赌注，以确保自己没弄错。当斯图里奇完成绝杀时，琼斯简直不敢相信自己的好运。但当他激动地前往博彩公司兑奖时，吝啬的Coral公司却拒绝支付2万英镑，他们表示工作人员当时弄错了赔率。博彩公司表示琼斯是在斯托克的一家站点购买的彩票，当时正确的赔率应为8/1。愤怒的琼斯告诉《太阳报》：“我很困惑，我当时看到了大屏幕上的赔率，然后就找到工作人员下了自己的赌注。柜台后面的那位女士手写了这个单子，我还让她打印了两次我的赌注，她也照做了。但现在Coral却告诉我这是无效的，我并没有赢得2万英镑。但赌博就是赌博，我感觉自己被欺骗了。琼斯觉得受到了欺骗，“如果我下一了一注没有中奖，然后告诉博彩公司我当时犯错了，想要拿回自己下注的本金，他们肯定认为我脑子不正常，他们的行为太无耻了。如果赌注不按照当时的赔率来进行，那么这一行就会乱套。整件事情是他们在犯错，而不是我，但我却是遭到惩罚的人。他们不能根据他们想要支付的赔率来兑奖。”“斯图里奇进球时我感觉自己好像登上了月球一样高兴，赢下那么大一笔钱可不是经常有的事，但不到24小时我就被夺走了一切，如今我感到心烦意乱。”琼斯说。一名博彩公司发言人说道：“我同情这位顾客的遭遇，因为突然中大奖的心情总是很激动。但我们有自己的规则，任何彩民在任何时刻购买的赔率是一样的。失误总是难免发生，或许是技术问题，或许是人为因素，我们会尽全力避免犯错。幸运的是这样的错误并不多见。”
